About Musicare
With partners and mentors at the Center for Social Concern and the Peabody Institute, we perform for patients at local healthcare facilities on a weekly basis. Our goal is to provide compassionate care and moment of humanity for patients in some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Initiatives

Training
Musicare trains undergraduate students interested in music, health, or anything in-between to develop compassion, inter-personal skills, and artistic excellence.

Music at the Bedside
Music at the bedside isn't simply a concert - it's a research-backed intervention proven to reduce anxiety and the need for pain medication.

Outcomes
We work with our partners to understand how patients respond to our programming and continually work to implement best practices.
